Police in Utah are investigating a third domestic violence allegation against reality TV star Taylor Frankie Paul, stemming from an incident involving her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. The West Jordan Police Department confirmed the investigation, which centers on an alleged altercation in early to mid-2024, reported by Mortensen in February 2026. No charges have been filed, and the case remains active.
Separately, the Draper Police Department is also probing a separate domestic violence report involving both Paul and Mortensen, with claims from both parties. As a result, Paul has temporarily lost custody of her son, Ever, and a protective order was issued against her on March 20.
Paul, known for "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," was set to star in Season 22 of ABC's "The Bachelorette," but the show was canceled after a leaked video of a 2023 dispute between Paul and Mortensen surfaced. Mortensen has denied leaking the video. Paul previously pleaded guilty to an aggravated assault charge related to the 2023 incident, which was partially documented in the first season of "Mormon Wives."
Police have spoken with Mortensen and Paul's attorney but have not yet interviewed Paul directly. Investigators are reviewing multiple videos tied to the alleged altercations and have asked Paul to provide a statement or appear for an interview.
